On Friday, the number of positive test subjects increased by 1,968, with 11,904. The number of confirmed deaths from pulmonary form COVID-19 is 82. A further 115 subjects were cured, a total of 7,297 patients had recovered.
The most positive cases were added in Žilina region (603), followed by Prešovský (388), Trenčiansky (225), Banskobystrický (224), Košický (206), Nitriansky (133), Bratislava (103) and Trnavský (86). There are 1018 women and 950 men, aged 2 to 96.
In hospitals, 614 patients are hospitalized, confirmed COVID-19 has 520 of them. There are 20 people on the ICU, support for artificial lung ventilation needs 51 patients.
The total number of positive people tested in our country so far is 28 268, since the onset of the disease, 606 149 laboratory tests have been performed. Active cases of disease are currently 20 889 in Slovakia.
