59-year-old woman died at the Faculty Hospital in Nitra, 63-year-old male at the Central Military Hospital in Ružomberok, 72-year-old male at the Faculty Hospital in Nitra, 76-year-old male at the University Hospital in Košice, 81-year-old male at the University Hospital in Bratislava, 82-year-old male at the Central Military Hospital in Ružomberok, 82-year-old woman at the Faculty Hospital in Nitra, 84-year-old male at the University Hospital in Martin, two 84-year-old women at the University Hospital in L.P. in Košice and 86-year-old woman at the Faculty Hospital in Nitra.
In hospitals, 540 patients are currently hospitalized, with confirmed COVID-19 disease having 464 of them. There are 18 people on the ICU, support for artificial lung ventilation needs 51 patients.
The total number of positive people tested in Slovakia is 26 300 so far, and since the onset of the disease, 594 245 laboratory tests have been performed. Active cases of disease are currently 19 047 in Slovakia.
