In Slovakia in the past day, 509 positive test people were added in the form of RT-PCR tests, and the completed examinations were 1,771. There were 16 additional deaths from the pulmonary form, a total of 526 patients died from the disease. An additional 534 patients were cured, with a total of 31 053 subjects recovering from the disease.
The most positive test was in Prešov region (186) followed by Trenčín region (109), Žilinský (63), Banskobystrický (52), Bratislava (47), Trnavský (23), Košický (15) and Nitriansky (14). There are 228 men and 281 women.
In hospitals, 1,815 patients are hospitalized, 1,509 of whom have confirmed disease. There are 100 patients for ICU, support for artificial lung ventilation needs 118 people.
The total number of laboratory tests completed so far in Slovakia is 968 365, positive test subjects have so far been 87 276.
