In Slovakia, 3 345 people were added to the last day with a positive PCR test, of which almost 72% were not vaccinated. As regards antigen testing, 1,586 positive, over 71% of these have not yet been vaccinated. Yesterday, 10 999 RT-PCR and 16 532 antigenic tests were completed.The most tested positive RT-PCR tests were in the Košice region (715), followed by Prešov region (603), Bratislava region (448), Trenčiansky (447), Žilinský (356), Banská Bystric (311), Trnavský (236) and Nitriansky (229). There are 1,600 men and 1,745 women. The total number of positive men tested is 267 968 and 295 477 women.In hospitals, 2 637 are hospitalized with confirmed COVID-19. Of those hospitalized, 81.01% are not vaccinated at all or only partially vaccinated. On the ICU there are 236 patients, support for artificial lung ventilation needs 241 people. The number of confirmed victims for the lung form COVID-19 increased by 61 subjects. The total number of deaths per Covid is 13 598 and the total number of deaths with Covid is 2,596. The total number of individuals vaccinated with the first dose of vaccine is 2,546 037 in the previous day plus 1 133 vaccinees. A second dose of vaccine has already been given to 2 326 251 people, 259 people have been vaccinated on the past day. At the third dose, 2 429 people were vaccinated yesterday, 205 102 in total.
The total number of laboratory PCR tests completed so far is 4,232 191, with 563,445 tested positive. The total number of Ag tests performed so far is 39 565 220, of which 446 177 were tested positive.
