In Slovakia, 1929 positive subjects for COVID-19 were added on Wednesday, 12 502 completed examinations. A further 217 people were cured, a total of 6,926 cured. The number of confirmed deaths from pulmonary form COVID-19 is 71.
The most positive cases were in Žilina region (523), followed by Prešov region (451), Trnavský (236), Košický (211), Trenčiansky (162), Banskobystrický (139), Bratislava (127) and Nitra region (80). There are 1045 women and 884 men, between the ages of a few months and 99. In hospitals, 509 patients are hospitalized and 424 patients have confirmed COVID-19 disease. There are 18 people on the ICU, 49 patients need artificial lung ventilation support. The total number of positive people tested in Slovakia is 24 225 so far, and since the onset of the disease, 580 235 laboratory tests have been carried out.
