In Slovakia, 54 people tested positive for COVID-19 on Friday, 3235 tests were performed. Another 25 patients were cured of the disease.Positive tests were carried out in districts: Bratislava (12), Trenčín (9), Prešov (4), Dunajská Streda (4), Bánovce nad Bebravou (3), Senec (3), Vranov nad Topľou (2), Žilina (2), Revúca (2), Trnava (2), Bytča (1), Nové Mesto nad Váhom (1), Žiar nad Hronom (1), Košice (1), Ilava (1), Pezinok (1), Zvolen (1), Čadca (1), Detva (1), Nitra (1) and Prievidza (1). There are 28 men and 26 women, aged between 6 and 84. There are 50 patients in hospitals with or suspected of coronavirus; the disease has been confirmed in 36 subjects. There are two in the intensive care unit, four patients need artificial lung ventilation support. Another 25 patients have been cured of the disease, together with COVID-19 in Slovakia, which has surpassed 1969 people so far. The number of deceased who have been confirmed with COVID-19 remains at number 31. In Slovakia there are currently 855 people with active COVID-19 disease. 292 825 completed laboratory examinations have been carried out in our country so far, the total number of positive cases in Slovakia is 2855.
