The Ministry of Health, in cooperation with the National Health Information Centre, is launching this week the so-called "A waiting room" to register for vaccination. People will no longer have to wait for free vaccination dates.
The current vaccination dates are almost filled, so the application will start in the next few days. These days we use for final testing of the application. Stress tests are currently being carried out,"he said Director of the National Health Information Centre, Róbert Suja.
The new form will so far be addressed to four groups set up by the Ministry of Health Decree, i.e. seniors over 60 years of age or special groups of people such as health professionals. " After registration, the candidate should be informed of his date of vaccination no later than two days before vaccination. The dates will be allocated according to the criteria currently set," specified Ján Hargaš, Informatics Adviser at the Ministry of Investment, Regional Development and Informatics of the Slovak Republic.
In a new application, the candidate for vaccination will be able to choose the preferred vaccination site.
In the first step, the candidate chooses one of the offered groups who are currently entitled to the vaccine. He then fills in personal data such as first name, last name, birth number, address or telephone number. In the second step, the candidate chooses the vaccination site that he prefers.
In the third step, the application will show the areas available for vaccination. If not, the candidate will register as a waiting person. "The system of each registration assigns a PIN code, which comes both SMS and email, and one becomes a waiter," explained Barbora Mareková from NCZI.
The waiter will be able to change his or her details after registration or cancel the registration completely. "Once again, the selected vaccination centre can postpone the date of vaccination when you are unable to participate, for example when you are ill. The Centre shall be notified at least 24 hours in advance," concluded Barbora Marek from NCZI.
