In Slovakia 505 positive test subjects were added in the form of RT-PCR tests and 470 positive antigen tests in the past day. This is 17.41% of the 2,899 positive RT-PCR examinations completed and 7.18% of the 6,545 antigen tests carried out yesterday.
The most positive test was in the Bratislava region (125), followed by Banskobystrický (122), Prešovský (89), Trenčiansky (77), Košický (47), Žilinský (26), Nitriansky (12) and Trnavský (7). There are 242 men and 263 women among them.
In hospitals, 2,230 patients are hospitalized, of whom the confirmed disease has 2,037 people. There are 140 patients for ICU, support for artificial lung ventilation needs 142 people.
The number of confirmed deaths from pulmonary form COVID-19 increased by 30 cases. The total is 1 205.
A total of 1,517 patients were cured, with a total of 98,585 people recovering from the disease.
The total number of laboratory PCR tests completed so far is 1 218 962, with 133 489 subjects tested positive.
