The number of hospital patients hospitalised with or suspected of COVID-19 has an upward trend. According to current statistics, 2230 such patients are hospitalized, 140 people are at ICU, 142 people need support for artificial lung ventilation. These are historical maxima. The number of hospitalized patients increased again, this time compared with the previous day statistics by 83 patients. The situation is serious, the Ministry has it under control. There is a team in the resort's soil that deals exclusively with the situation in medical institutions. We receive reports several times a day and we actively address the situation if necessary. The Crisis Coordination Centre, which we have set up to deal with and monitor the situation, is also active in the Ministry, stated Minister of Health of the SR Marek Krajčí. The hospital situation is monitored by a team led by the State Secretary, Peter Stachura. We publish updated information daily via the portal www.covicv hospital.sk. The provision of affordable health care is crucial for us. Thanks to current hospital data, we can react flexibly to the situation and make responsible decisions. Although the situation is difficult, some hospitals still carry out part of the planned operations, depending on the epidemiological situation in the region. I would like to assure all patients that, in the event of a sudden deterioration in their health, adequate healthcare will be provided, said State Secretary MZ SR Peter Stachura.

In this way too, we call on the hospital authorities to ensure that anti-epidemic measures are followed and required not only by health professionals, but by all those entering these areas, added State Secretary.

We thank all healthcare professionals for the extraordinary work they are doing in these times, and I appreciate it immensely, and I believe that together we can cope with this difficult situation. closed down the head of the health department Marek Krajčí.

The Ministry of Health calls on the public to comply with the basic rules of R-O-R, i.e. wearing a drape, sufficient distance (at least 2 meters) and consistent hand hygiene. By following the measures, we will jointly eliminate the virus's spread.
