In Slovakia, there have been 5 804 people with a positive PCR test in the past day, of whom more than 71 percent have not been vaccinated. As regards antigen testing, 1 352 positive, over 71% of these have not yet been vaccinated. Yesterday, 17,941 RT-PCR tests and 12,938 antigen tests were completed.
The most tested positive RT-PCR tests were in Prešov region (1 255), followed by Košice region (869), Trnavský (815), Banskobystrický (761), Žilinský (652), Bratislava (587), Trenčiansky (478) and Nitriansky (387). There are 2 712 men and 3 092 women. The total number of positive men tested is 266,368 and of women 293,732.In hospitals, 2,626 are hospitalized with confirmed COVID-19. Of those hospitalized, 80.48% are not vaccinated at all or only partially vaccinated. There are 238 patients on the ICU, 239 people need support for artificial lung ventilation. The number of confirmed victims for the lung form COVID-19 increased by 52 subjects. The total number of deaths per Covid is 13 537 and the total number of deaths with Covid is 2,594. The total number of individuals vaccinated with the first dose of vaccine is 2,544 367 in the previous day plus 1,639 vaccinees. A second dose of vaccine has already been given to 2 325 897 people, and 357 people have been vaccinated on the past day. A third dose of 5,443 people were vaccinated yesterday, a total of 200,936. The total number of laboratory PCR tests completed so far is 4 221 192, with 560 100 tested positive.
