In Slovakia, in the past day there were 1,771 positive test people in the form of RT-PCR tests, 10 742 tests completed.
The most positive test was in Prešov region (395), followed by Trenčín region (308), Trnavský (219), Nitriansky (210), Košický (207), Žilinský (181), Banskobystrický (157) and Bratislava (94). There are 826 men and 945 women.
In hospitals, 1,743 patients are hospitalized, of whom 1474 have confirmed disease. On ICU there are 108 patients, support for artificial lung ventilation needs 117 people.
There were 19 deaths from the pulmonary form of COVID-19, a total of 510 patients died from the disease. The total number of completed laboratory tests in Slovakia so far is 960 049, positive test subjects have so far been 85 567. More information at www.korona.gov.sk.
