In Slovakia, vaccination is started with 3 doses of Covid-19 disease vaccine. It is intended for immunocompromised patients. There are several ways in which candidates can be vaccinated. The National Health Information Centre, by list from health insurance companies, will send SMS messages to all patients based on their diagnosis.

Patients:- for active treatment of cancers and haematological malignancies - following organ transplantation using immunocompromised medicinal products - following stem cell transplantation in the last 2 years - receiving immunosuppressant medicinal products (e. g. chemotherapy, rheumatologic and other immune-related diseases treated with immunosuppressive therapy with or without systemic corticosteroids),- with moderate or severe primary immunodeficiency, as considered by the treating clinical immunologist and depending on the nature of the disease)- with primary or secondary asplenia- chronic renal failure- with advanced or untreated HIV infection- to treat high doses of corticosteroids or other immunosuppressive medicinal products After receiving an information SMS, these patients can register on the www.korona.gov.skor https://vaccinacia.nzisk.sk/. After the deadline is assigned, they will arrive at their chosen location and be vaccinated. However, registration for the 3rd dose by electronic form will only be possible for those patients who receive an information SMS. Patients with an alert message will also be able to report the 3rd dose of the vaccine to the vaccination centre where it can be vaccinated without registration. They will show up with a text message from NCZI, fill out the necessary documents and will be vaccinated after consultation with the doctor. They may also choose the same procedure for vaccination with the general clinician. For more effective patient management, however, the Ministry of Health recommends that interested parties use the registration form. Patients who do not receive an information SMS message from an NCZI but who are also suffering from one of the above-mentioned diagnoses must visit their treating physician who will issue them an exchange ticket after their health assessment. Subsequently, the vaccination centre or the outpatient vaccination physician against Covid-19 disease will be treated without registration.Look out!Administration of the 3rd dose of vaccine for this patient group may be given at least 4 weeks after the 2nd dose of vaccine. We recommend that all interested parties consult their treating physician before administering the 3rd dose. In short:1. The patient will receive an alert text from NCZI.2. The candidate will be able to register via the portal www.korona.gov.skor

Electronic registration for vaccination is not possible for patients who only have an exchange ticket. Vaccination of children at risk from the age of 5Since Wednesday, the possibility of registration for vaccination against Covid-19 disease is also opened for children aged 5 years and older. It is designed for small patients who are seriously at risk for the severe course of Covid-19. The vaccination of clients of social services facilities is carried out through the exit vaccination teams. The Department of Labour collects the requirements of individual devices, which it then sends to the Ministry of Health. Once the data has been checked, the lists are sent to individual self-governing regions, which coordinate the exit vaccinations in their regions.Look out!Vaccination of healthcare professionals and ZSS clients with 3 doses of Covid-19 disease vaccine is possible at least 6 months after the 2nd dose of vaccine. For the time being, no 3rd dose of vaccine can be given to those who have previously had Covid-19 disease and are already vaccinated with 2 doses of vaccine.
