Thanks to the amendment, they can also begin to vaccinate people with underpayments on insurance and legislation also addresses the payment of the vaccination of foreigners. The Ministry of Health has prepared a legislative change that allows several groups of the population to vaccinate against COVID-19 disease. A citizen of the Slovak Republic is entitled to vaccination, but also a foreigner who pays health insurance with us. It is also possible to vaccinate a citizen of another EU country, but it must have a S1 form registered in Slovakia. This means that the holder of the S1 form must register it at any branch of the health insurance company in Slovakia. Upon registration of the form, the insurance undertaking shall specify the requirement to produce an EU marked licence. Only after the licence has been issued and its receipt can the candidate attend the date of vaccination. They are currently not entitled to vaccination, people from third countries without payments to our public health insurance system.
