The most tested positive RT-PCR tests were in Prešov region (1 358), followed by Košice region (1 132), Žilinský (1 027), Banská Bystrica region (972), Bratislava region (856), Trenčiansky (784), Trnavský (563) and Nitriansky (552). There are 3 381 men and 3 863 women. The total number of positive males tested is 263,656 and 290,640 respectively.
Hospitals are hospitalized 2,626 with confirmed COVID-19. Of those hospitalized, 80.36% are not vaccinated at all or only partially vaccinated. There are 239 patients on the ICU, 238 people need support for artificial lung ventilation.
The number of confirmed victims for the lung form COVID-19 increased by 39 subjects. The total number of deaths per Covid is 13,485, and the total number of deaths "with Covid" is 2,589. The total number of individuals vaccinated with the first dose of vaccine is 2 542 370 in the previous day plus 5 139 vaccinees. A second dose of vaccine has already been given to 2 325 309 people, with 2,383 people vaccinated the last day. The third dose vaccinated 15 323 people yesterday, a total of 194 052.
