In Slovakia, 2024 positive people tested for COVID-19, 10 736 PCR tests were performed. 913 men and 1111 women were tested positive, mostly in Prešov region (397), Žilina (334) Trenčín (324), Nitra (256), Banskobystrický (218), Košick (192), Trnavský (162) and Bratislava region (141).In hospitals, 1815 patients are hospitalized, of which 1528 have confirmed disease. There are 107 patients on ICU, support for artificial lung ventilation needs 127 people. Unfortunately, there were 27 other deaths due to the pulmonary form of COVID-19. There are 12 women and 15 men, between the ages of 47 and 91. The good news is that as many as 2,125 people have been cured, together with COVID-19 experienced 26,439 patients in Slovakia. The total number of laboratory tests completed so far in Slovakia is 949 307, positive test subjects were 83 796.
