Not only medical but also psychological assistance is important in areas threatened by new coronavirus for successful pandemic management. Intervention teams of the Ministry of Health have since 24 September intervened in accommodation facilities for seniors, where they conduct, inter alia, coronavirus testing or health check. The intervention teams provide support to seniors and marginalised communities with a high risk of death as well as the rapid spread of COVID-19. The aim of this project is to minimise the spread of coronavirus and its impact on vulnerable populations in the shortest possible time. In the summer I set up the Operational Centre of the Pandemic Commission of the Government of the Slovak Republic and this project is just in its sense, stated Minister of Health of the SR Marek Krajčí. Support for intervention teams is a short-term, adapted facility or community, covering key areas for stabilising the situation: health, psychological-social, epidemiological, material-technical and personnel.The teams provide expert consultations, test for COVID-19, clinical screening of clients and perform medical triage of patients, explained Minister for Health M. Krajčí. The members of the teams are health professionals, doctors, nurses, paramedics, doctors, epidemiologists, logists, as well as psychosocial managers, who are mobilised by regional coordinators. They coordinate their work with government, R & D & I authorities and health establishments. Intervention teams have already supported the Retirement Home in Klížská By non-mediated health care doctors of Nitra Hospital and psychological support UPSVR Komárno, carried out a series of tests as well as health check in the Domov Autumn of Life in Bratislava Dúbravka, collections at Fortuna hostel, organized multilateral support for the Centre of Medicine Sunhouse in Humenne, active were also in the House of Jesienka in Shurany.
