In Slovakia, 6 843 people were added in the past day with a positive PCR test, of which almost 70% were not vaccinated. As regards antigen testing, 1,964 positive, almost 72% of these have not been vaccinated. 23,203 RT-PCR tests and 29,183 antigen tests were completed yesterday.The most tested positive RT-PCR tests were in Prešov region (1 218), followed by Košice region (1 035), Banská Bystrica region (1 023), Žilinský (924), Trenčiansky (805), Bratislava (787), Nitriansky (539) and Trnavský (512). There are 3 276 men and 3,567 women among them. The total number of positive males tested is 260 275 and of females 286 777.
In hospitals, 2,594 are hospitalized with confirmed COVID-19. Of those hospitalized, 80% are not vaccinated at all or only partially vaccinated. 227 patients are on the ICU, supporting artificial lung ventilation needs 231 people. The number of confirmed victims for the lung form COVID-19 increased by 41 subjects. The total number of deaths per Covid is 13,446, and the total number of deaths with Covid is 2,584. The total number of persons vaccinated with the first dose of vaccine is 2 535 967 in the previous day plus 3 001 vaccinees. A second dose of vaccine has already been given to 2 322 437 people, with 1,214 people vaccinated the past day. The total number of laboratory PCR tests completed so far is 4 176 937, with 547 052 tested positive. The total number of Ag tests performed so far is 39 490 431 of which 439 903 were tested positive.
