In Slovakia, in the past day, 6 546 people were added with a positive PCR test, of which more than 68% were not vaccinated. As far as antigen testing is concerned, 1,859 positive, almost 71% of them have not yet been vaccinated. Yesterday, 22 967 RT-PCR and 27 186 antigenic tests were completed.The most tested positive RT-PCR tests were in Prešov region (1 278), followed by Banská Bystrica region (950), Košický (933), Žilinský (897), Bratislava (840), Trenčiansky (647), Trnavský (590) and Nitriansky (411). There are 3 052 men and 3 494 women. The total number of positive men tested is 256 999 and women 283 210.In hospitals, 2,532 are hospitalized with confirmed COVID-19. Of those hospitalized, 79.77% are not vaccinated at all or only partially vaccinated. 215 patients are in ICU, 230 people need support for artificial lung ventilation. The number of confirmed victims for the lung form COVID-19 increased by 38 subjects. The total number of deaths per Covid is 13 405 and the total number of deaths with Covid is 2,580. The total number of individuals vaccinated with the first dose of vaccine is 2,532 607 in the previous day plus 2,744 vaccinees. A second dose of vaccine has already been given to 2 320 910 people, with 1,069 people vaccinated the past day. The total number of laboratory PCR tests completed so far is 4 153 734, with 540 209 tested positive.
