In Slovakia, in the past day, 7 055 people were added with a positive PCR test, of which almost 68% were not vaccinated. As for antigen testing, 1,667 positive, almost 71 percent of them have not yet been vaccinated. Yesterday, 24 791 RT-PCR and 27 179 antigenic tests were completed.The most tested positive RT-PCR tests were in Žilina region (1 438), followed by Prešovský kraj (1 037), Košický (973), Bratislava (938), Banskobystrický (922), Trenčiansky (750), Trnavský (585) and Nitriansky (412). There are 3 346 men and 3 709 women among them. The total number of positive men tested is 253 947 and of women 279 716.
Hospitals are hospitalized 2 478 with confirmed COVID-19. Of those hospitalized, 80.26 percent are not vaccinated at all or only partially vaccinated. There are 210 patients for ICU, 228 people need support for artificial lung ventilation. The number of confirmed victims for lung form COVID-19 increased by 53 subjects. The total number of deaths per Covid is 13 367 and the total number of deaths "with Covid" is 2,571.
The total number of persons vaccinated with the first dose of vaccine is 2,527 041 in the previous day plus 2,332 vaccinees. A second dose of vaccine has already been given to 2 318 236 people, with 1 134 people vaccinated the past day. The total number of laboratory PCR tests completed so far is 4 130 767, with 533 663 tested positive.
