In Slovakia, 1887 people with COVID-19 were added, 11 123 tests were carried out.Positive tests had 992 women and 895 men. Positive testing was between the ages of several months and 94 years, mostly in the age group from 35 to 44 years.
The most positive test was in Žilina region (543), in Prešov region (406), in Trenčín region (198), in Košice region (188), in Trnava region (156), in Bratislava region (148), in Banská Bystrica region (128) and in Nitra region (120).In hospitals there are currently 380 patients hospitalized with or suspected COVID-19 disease, of which 326 people have confirmed the new Coronavirus. There are 12 patients on ICU, support for artificial pulmonary ventilation needs 31 people. The good news is that another 101 people have recovered. So far 5553 people have overcome the disease in Slovakia. The total number of positive people tested in Slovakia is 18 797, since the onset of the disease, 539 490 laboratory tests have been carried out. The number of confirmed deaths is 61, active cases of disease are currently 13 183 in Slovakia.
