In Slovakia, 3 600 positive test subjects were added in the form of RT-PCR tests and 1,681 positive antigen tests in the past day. This is 22% of the 16 361 RT-PCR examinations completed and 1.07% of the 156 883 antigen tests.
The total number of persons vaccinated with the first dose of the vaccine is 373 797, 3 103 were vaccinated the previous day. A second dose of vaccine has already been given to 195,224 people, and 6,761 people have been vaccinated on the past day.
In hospitals, 3 963 patients are hospitalized, 3,720 of whom have confirmed disease. There are 324 patients on the ICU, the support of artificial lung ventilation needs 369 people.
The number of confirmed deaths from pulmonary form COVID-19 increased by 109 cases. The total number of deaths per Covid is 8 146 and the total number of deaths with Covid is 1,614.
The most tested positive RT-PCR tests were in the Košice region (676), followed by Trenčín region (586), Žilinský (537), Prešovský (105), Trnavský (442), Banská Bystrica (352), Nitriansky (260) and Bratislava (242). All the countries of the world have gone through huge numbers of positive cases and sick people to report inactive cases, as it is not really possible to detect the persistence of health problems in such a number of disabled people.
