In the coming weeks, the Ministry of Health is preparing to open more than a quarter of a million new dates for vaccination. After the launch of the new registration form, by 7 April there should be approximately 140 thousand dates for seniors older than 70 years and about 120 thousand dates for people aged 60 to 70 years.
The Ministry of Health, in cooperation with the NCZI, is launching a new application which aims to significantly simplify registration for vaccination. The preparation of this application started at the beginning of February. Upon completion of the current safety testing, the application with the new registration system will be made available no later than Monday next week.
The new registration form will allow those interested in vaccination to sign in at the time when the free dates for vaccination will not be available. Their requirement will be found in the so-called – Chakařniņ. When new dates are opened, people will be automatically invited to vaccinate at the vaccination centre, which they will enter at registration. Candidates for vaccination will no longer have to wait for capacity to be opened on the page korona.gov.sk, but the system will process their requirements automatically on the basis of specified criteria.
For three weeks from 18 March to 7 April, approximately 140 thousand new vaccination dates for people older than 70 years of age Pfizer are provisionally scheduled. Registration for these dates will be done by means of the "Chakárne" or registered candidates will be invited to a specific date, which will be available in their chosen facility.
However, vaccination of those to receive a second dose of Pfizer will also be carried out at the same time. In these weeks, it should be over 40,000 people.
For three weeks from 13 March to 2 April, up to 120 thousand doses of AstraZeneca for self-governing regions are scheduled to be distributed in large-capacity centres. These vaccines are intended for people aged 60 to 70 years. And in this case, when a new application is launched with a cafeteria, applicants will be able to register and subsequently be invited to vaccination.
In order to reduce the likelihood of technical problems, free registration positions for older people over the age of 70 will be opened today at specific times by county:
