In Slovakia, 2,564 positive test subjects were added in the form of RT-PCR tests and 3,077 positive antigen tests in the past day. This is 19.31 percent of the 13 277 positive RT-PCR examinations completed and 6.86% of the 44 837 antigen tests carried out yesterday.
The most positive test was in the Trenčín region (546), followed by Prešovský (350), Nitriansky (340), Žilinský (331), Trnavský (281), Banská Bystrica (256), Bratislava (234) and Košický (226). There are 1 223 men and 1 341 women.
In hospitals, 2,083 patients are hospitalized, of whom the confirmed disease has 1,862 people. There are 139 patients on ICU, support for artificial lung ventilation needs 131 people.
The number of confirmed deaths from pulmonary form COVID-19 increased by 38 cases. The total number is 1,084.
A total of 2,336 patients were cured and 89,769 people recovered from the disease.
The total number of laboratory PCR tests completed so far is 1,162 048, with 121 796 subjects tested positive.
