In Slovakia, 1 949 positive test people were added in the form of RT-PCR tests and 376 positive antigen tests in the past day. This is 19.02 percent of the 10 245 positive RT-PCR examinations completed and 4.90% of the 7 679 antigen tests carried out yesterday.
The most positive test was in Žilina region (348), followed by Prešovský (309), Bratislava (272), Košický (270), Trenčiansky (258), Trnavský (178), Banskobystrický (175) and Nitriansky (139). There are 914 men and 1,035 women among them.
In hospitals, 2,048 patients are hospitalized, of which 1796 have confirmed disease. There are 133 patients on the ICU, 137 people need artificial lung ventilation support.
The number of confirmed deaths from pulmonary form COVID-19 increased by 28 cases. The total is 1,046.
A total of 2,583 patients were cured, and 87 433 people recovered from the disease.
The total number of laboratory PCR tests completed so far is 1,148,771, with 119,232 subjects tested positive.
