In Slovakia, 31 new positive COVID-19 cases were added on Tuesday, 2225 tests were carried out. In total, we have 1798 positive test subjects, so far laboratories have done 221 494 tests.Positive testing are from districts: Nové mesto nad Váhom (5), Tvrdošín (5), Senica (4), Trenčín (3), Senec (3), Bratislava (2), Revúca (2), Námestovo (2), Prievidza (1), Medzilaborce (1), Brezno (1), Prešov (1), Veľký Krtíš (1). There are 22 men and 9 women, between the ages of 4 and 70. 10 patients are hospitalized, 7 COVID-19 disease has been confirmed. There are three patients on the ICU, one on the artificial lung vent. The disease has already cured 1473 people, 201 of whom were hospitalized and 1272 were cured in domestic isolation. The number of deaths from patients tested positive for new coronavirus remains 28. In Slovakia, the situation regarding the spread of COVID-19 is under control. Regional public health authorities have seized fireplaces and anti-epidemic measures are set up.
With regard to 31 positive cases identified yesterday, the regional public health authorities today informed the Minister for Health Marek Krajci about the details. To a large extent, a travel history has emerged in identifying positive people. A number of people who arrived from Ukraine were tested positive, another man came from Serbia. Epidemiologists in the regions have supervised contacts of already tested people. The results showed that in one case the person was infected with coronavirus by ice creammakers, where a local focus was caught. Several positive cases from a captured outbreak from the mediated hockey concentration of children have also been identified. These results are good news. Epidemiologists in the regions have managed to track positive contacts at COVID-19, which means that they do not move uncontrolled across the street and do not endanger other people. Regional health professionals continue to work actively in the regions.
