In Slovakia, 552 positive test subjects were added in the form of RT-PCR tests and 101 positive antigen tests in the past day. This is 16.16% of the 3 415 positive RT-PCR examinations completed and 3.61% of the 2 793 antigen tests carried out yesterday.
The most positive test was in Banskobystrický and Košice region – after 121, followed by Trenčiansky (114), Bratislava (61), Prešovský (59), Trnavský (46), Nitriansky (15) and Žilinský (15). There are 258 men and 294 women among them.
In hospitals, 1,979 patients are hospitalized, of whom the confirmed disease has 1,769 people. There are 130 patients for ICU, support for artificial lung ventilation needs 125 people.
The number of confirmed deaths from pulmonary form COVID-19 increased by 22 cases. The total is 1,018.
In total, 84,850 people recovered from the disease.
The total number of laboratory PCR tests completed so far is 1,138 526, with 117 283 subjects tested positive.
