The Ministry of Health comes with a change in vaccination. As of today, they can register and subsequently vaccinate with vaccines from Pfizer/Biontech and Modern people over 50 years of age. The main reason is the volume of vaccines delivered and also the increase in vaccine capacity. From now on it is also possible to register a person over 70 with a modified registration form.
By the end of May, a total of 1,534 150 vaccines are planned for Slovakia. The most should be from Pfizer/Biontech. This manufacturer should deliver 1,047 150 vaccines. The Ministry of Health, after a thorough analysis, allows people over 50 to register for mRNA vaccine (Pfizer and Moderna). Up to now, Pfizer and Moderna have vaccinated the age group from 60 and chronically ill patients. Under 50 years of age, they may be registered for vaccination with AstraZeneca. Currently no vaccine selection is possible.
The registration system will also allow the registration of a person from 70 years of age. The new form allows you to enter the procession number when registering seniors. A guide may be registered if a senior is vaccinated with the first dose. The accompanying person must be aged 18 and receive the same vaccine as the senior, accompanied by a vaccination. They will be vaccinated at the same centre and at the same time (automatically assign them the following terms). The deadline for second dose vaccination will be automatically given in the same regimen (personal location and consecutive dates). The date, time and place of vaccination will be reported by both (senior and escort) in a standard manner. So they get an information text and email.
