On Sunday, the number of positive patients tested for COVID-19 increased by an additional 353 subjects, and the results were 3,382. The number of confirmed deaths from lung form COVID-19 is 55. An additional 37 subjects were cured, a total of 4865 patients had recovered.
The positive test results were carried out by people in districts: Bratislava (34), Bardejov (31), Stropkov (30), Dunajská Streda (19), Prievidza (16), Svidník (14), Žilina (14), Stará Ľubovňa (13), Trnava (13), Michalovce (12), Vranov nad Topľou (12), Nové Zámky (11), Sobrance (11), Trenčín (11), Malacky (9), Košice (7) and Spišská Nová Ves (7). Five positive cases were in districts Čadca, Námestovo, Nové Mesto nad Váhom, Prešov, four cases had districts Banská Bystrica, Galanta, Humenné, Ružomberok, Sabinov, Senica, Trebišov, after three cases had districts Komárno, Pezinok, Senec and Tvrdošín. Two cases had districts of Košice and surroundings, Liptovský Mikuláš, Partizánske, Poprad, Skalica, one case was recorded Dolný Kubín, Gelnica, Hlohovec, Ilava, Kežmarok, Levice, Levoča, Martin, Myjava, Piešťany, Považská Bystrica, Revúca, Rimavská Sobota, Rožňava, Snina, Topoľčany, Zlaté Moravce, Zvolen and Žiar nad Hronom. There are 181 women and 172 men, between the ages of 1 and 93. In hospitals, 279 patients are hospitalized, with confirmed COVID-19 disease having 242 of them. There are 13 people on the ICU, 24 patients in need of artificial lung ventilation support. The total number of positive people tested in Slovakia is 13 492, since the onset of the disease, 496 284 laboratory tests have been performed.
