The whole world is fighting a new coronavirus, and we are doing everything we can to protect people's health. Partial limitation of planned operational performance in hospitals is gradually released from Easter holidays following the invitation of the Minister of Health of the Slovak Republic Marek Krajčí. At the same time, the director of the health department asks doctors in the clinics to investigate patients and to carry out preventive examinations. An examination of the patient in an ambulance should be preceded by a call and ensure that the patient is not at risk of coronavirus infection. Consequently, there is nothing to prevent examination using protective equipment and compliance with sanitary measures. Please do not neglect your patients who may become ill. You can also do preventive checks. The patient should always be ordered for the exact time before making sure by phone that he has no symptoms of an effect, called Minister for Health Marek Krajčí. Prevention of cancers, such as mammography, is particularly important. Some medical establishments are starting to release mammographic preventive examinations, the decision currently depends on the local management of the healthcare facility, explained the Minister for Health. The planned procedures were gradually launched in hospitals. Their temporary reduction was due to their preparation for an increased number of patients with COVID-19 disease. Time has shown that Slovakia is handling the situation very well thanks to measures and discipline, so two weeks ago the minister called on the hospital to carry out the indicated procedures as soon as possible after the assessment by the internal clinical team.I think of all patients with delayed surgery. In view of the favourable epidemiological situation, I call on hospitals, doctors, to start operating on the planned operations. Patients, stay in quarantine, they can operate on you after 14 days. You'll have a pre-surgical examination in the hospital before you perform, Closed Head of the Health Department Marek Krajčí.More on planned hospital operations in the press release of April here: https://www.health.gov.sk/Clanok?coid-19-20-04-2020-operation
