The Minister of Health repeated that the situation in Slovakia had not improved even after a few weeks of curfew, because of the British mutation of the new coronavirus. "We decided to tighten the criteria for the black zone that we currently have in the COVID slot, allowing children to go to school," informed the minister of health.
Since Monday, 8 February, kindergartens, the first grade of primary schools, and also the ending years of secondary schools and vocational teaching will be opened.
According to the tightened covid machine, Slovakia will not be able to switch from black to milder - order phase - if the number of hospitalized with the new coronavirus does not drop below 3000. The average number of positive test subjects in Slovakia and the reproductive number were tightened by 20 percent.
