In Slovakia, 2,043 positive test subjects were added in the form of RT-PCR tests and 1,596 positive antigen tests in the past day. This is 18.35% of the 11 136 RT-PCR examinations completed and 5.73% of the 27 872 antigen tests.
The most positive test was in Nitra region (331), followed by Trenčín region (321), Prešovský (281), Bratislava (255), Trnavský (253), Banská Bystrický (215), Žilinský (209) and Košický (178). There are 909 men and 1134 women among them.
In hospitals, 1,836 patients are hospitalized, of which 1,613 have confirmed disease. There are 112 patients for ICU, support for artificial lung ventilation needs 123 people.
The number of confirmed deaths from pulmonary form COVID-19 increased by 30 cases. The total to date is 898.
A total of 2879 patients were cured, with a total of 71 738 people recovering from the disease.
The total number of laboratory PCR tests completed so far is 1,093 761, with 109,226 subjects tested positive.
