Ministry of Health of the Slovak Republic NOTIFIED interested in granting a subsidy in the field of health for research purposes and developments within the meaning of Paragraph 2 (1) (a). (a) Law No 525/2010 Z. z. on the granting of subsidies under the Ministry of Health The Slovak Republic, as amended, will be able to from 31 May 2018 submit applications for subsidies.
Priority areas of scientific and research issues in Slovakia Health is developed in line with current trends and knowledge in the field of health research and development, with strategies; and the intentions of the Ministry and the recommendations of the European Commission. The material was drawn up on the basis of Summary report from the EDP (Entrepreneurial) process Discovery Process-) for the product lines of the domain, the population health and medical technologieson 5 April 2018 approved by the Council of the Government of the Slovak Republic for Science, Technology and innovation as well as in accordance with the Programme Declaration of the Government of Slovakia Republics 2016-2020.
The selected themes of the applications for the abovementioned subsidy in Health for R & D, among others main trends in the scientific and research issues of Slovakia Health are:
1. Innovative diagnostic and therapeutic procedures and products
personalized / precision medicine;
2. Advanced therapy medicinal products;
3. Innovative biotechnology in medical science
4. Innovative medical equipment
The aim of this Communication is to ensure a transparent process for applicants who, if successful, comply with the selected participate in major medical solutions for 2018 problems related to the health status of the Slovak population, taking into account ethical and moral principles, patient protection and its health, the need for health prevention and quality of life patients.
The total budget of the 2018 subsidy is EUR 1 000 000, indicative the amount of the subsidy per project is between € 17 000 and € 100 000 per project year.
The maximum duration of the project is 3 years and the grant is linked to meeting defined milestones after every 12 months of project duration.
Expected date by which a request for grant within the remit of the Ministry of Health of the Slovak Republic Republic 31.7.2018
The maximum length of the project part is 15 pages, on condition to submit an application is to submit the documents requested v Slovak and English languages.
