PILOT PROJECT
Programme: Slovakia programme 2021-2027
Priority: 4P5. Active inclusion and accessible services
Specific objective: ESO4.11. Improving equal and timely access to quality, sustainable and affordable services, including those promoting access to housing and individualised care, including healthcare; modernising social protection systems, including promoting access to social protection, with a particular focus on children and disadvantaged groups; improving accessibility, including for persons with disabilities, the effectiveness and resilience of health care systems and long-term care services (ESF+)
State aid scheme: SGEI State aid scheme to support the stabilisation of personnel providing care to patients with indicated palliative therapy No. SP OF THE SGEI – 2/2024 as amended by Appendix 1 (hereinafter referred to as "State aid scheme')
Eligible applicants:
1. National Institute of Children's Diseases, Limbová 2643/1, 833 40 Bratislava, Nové Mesto
2. Faculty Hospital with Polyclinic F. D. Roosevelta Banská Bystrica, square Ludvika Svoboda 3865/1, 974 09 Banská Bystrica
3. Highly specialized professional institute of geriatric St.Lukáš in Košice n.o., Strojárenská 1099/13, 040 01 Košice 1
who must fulfil the following requirements:
(a) healthcare providers established pursuant to § 4 and carrying out their activities pursuant to § 7 of Act No. 578/2004 Coll. on Health Care Providers, Health Care Professionals, Health Professional Organisations and on the amendment of certain laws further defined in: paragraph 4 (a). (a) which is a constitutional institution (they will provide services facilitating the path of the patient from the institutional care environment to home care and care at community level)
b) the ability to set up a long-term and palliative care support team to consult patients and interested departments in hospitals with a staff security of at least 50% FTE from the approved staffing of the national project to 1 hospital (i.e. 1 FTE doctor, 1.5 FTE nurse, 1 FTE assisting profession)
(c) ability to participate in activities aimed at achieving the project's objective and results
