Dear representatives of hospitals,
in December 2022, the call from the Recovery and Resilience Plan of Slovakia to support small investment projects was launched up to EUR 5 million.
We would therefore like to recall with a summary of information that we firmly believe will help in the preparation of requests for funding for the mechanism.
To whom is the challenge addressed?
All hospitals/patient care providers may be involved in the call.
What is the challenge for?
Potential applicants can apply for funding up to five million euros for the implementation of new buildings, extensions, superstructures, reconstruction or modernization of existing buildings and also for material and technical equipment.
How many aid applications can be submitted
One provider may also submit multiple applications, but separately for each medical facility.
How long before an application can be lodged?
The call is scheduled to close on 17 March 2023.
How to apply?
The application may be submitted by electronic means, in the case of technical or operational limitations, also by instrument.
By electronic means, via the E-box ŽoPPM, together with the attachments, if it has an electronic mailbox activated within the meaning of Act No. 305/2013 Coll.

Should the hospital's development plan be presented to the Institute of Health Analysis?
A development plan (formerly referred to as a restructuring plan) for the assessment of IZA should be submitted before the application is submitted.
What should be included in the hospital development plan?
The plan template is part of an approved methodology, you can also find it in an annex to the call or on the website of the Ministry of Health. This template is to be followed for a smooth assessment.
Where is the hospital development plan to be sent?
The development plan may be submitted no later than 20 working days before the call is closed.
