The public call for applications for a subsidy from the Ministry of Health of the Slovak Republic for the promotion of the health of patients with rare diseases in the Slovak Republic for 2016 (hereinafter referred to as "the public call') is drawn up on the basis of the task No B.1. of Resolution No 671 of the Government of the Slovak Republic of 9 December 2015, according to which the Minister of Health is to ensure the implementation of activities under the Action Plan on the National Programme for the Development of the Care of Rare Diseases in the Slovak Republic for the period 2016 – 2020 under the 9th basic priorities developed into the conditions of the Health Department (hereinafter referred to as "the Action Plan') (hereinafter referred to as "the Action Plan')).
The invitation to tender shall be made in accordance with Article 2 (1) (a). (d) Act No 525/2010 Coll. on granting subsidies within the scope of the Ministry of Health of the Slovak Republic, as amended (hereinafter referred to as Act No 525/2010) For the implementation of the priority task for 2016 from the Action Plan:
support and development of health care, development of the National Specialised Expertise Centre for Rare Diseases in the Slovak Republic, the output of which will be support and development of 1 to 2 full-fledged national specialist centres for rare diseases in the Slovak Republic, which will be involved in the European reference network of specialised centres for rare diseases...
A public invitation shall be published pursuant to Article 5 (8) (a). (c) Law No 525/2010 Z. z. z.
