The Ministry of Health of the Slovak Republic gives a helping hand to potential applicants from the Recovery and Resilience Plan of the Slovak Republic, who have to deal with the Institute of State Expertise as part of the calls.
According to current legislation, the Institute must apply to all public investments above EUR 20 million. However, state expertise is often not directly requested by religious or non-profit organisations, for example.
In the event that applicants do not meet another eligible organisation, such as the relevant VÚC, they may apply for state expertise in the health sector. The Ministry shall, on behalf of the applicant, request expertise.
The Ministry considers the recovery plan to be a huge opportunity for modernising Slovak health. That is why it is taking all steps beyond the standard obligations so that successful implementation does not stand in the way of anything, says Ján Krajči, CEO Implementation sections of the Recovery and Resilience Plan and Reforms.
