COMMUNICATION Ministry of Health of the Slovak Republic
The Ministry of Health of the Slovak Republic issued pursuant to § 28 (3) of Act No. 580/2004 Coll. on Health Insurance and amending Act No. 95/2002 Coll. on Insurance and on the Amendment of Certain Acts, as amended
Decree of 7 December 2005 No 26836/2005 - SL, which issues a health care cost risk index for 2006.
The income is determined by an index of the risk of health care costs for each group of insured persons broken down by sex and by age structure for 2006 for the purpose of redistributing premiums.
The Decree shall enter into force on 30 December 2005.
The decree is published in a special edition of the Journal of the Slovak Ministry of Health of 28 December 2005 and can be viewed at the Ministry of Health of the Slovak Republic.

The Ministry of Health of the Slovak Republic pursuant to § 28 (3) of Act No. 580/2004 Coll. on Health Insurance and on the Amendment of Act No. 95/2002 Coll. on Insurance and on the Amendment of Certain Acts as amended provides:
§ 1
The health care risk index for each group of insured persons broken down by sex and by age structure for 2006 for the purpose of redistribution of premiums shall be determined as follows:

§ 2
The insured person shall be included in the higher age group as referred to in Article 1 on the first day of the calendar month following the calendar month in which he reaches the age decisive for inclusion in the higher age group.
§ 3
This Decision shall enter into force on 30 December 2005.
